Eligibility for the COVID-19 vaccine
UW Medicine is currently offering COVID-19 vaccine appointments in accordance with Washington State guidelines. Those who are currently eligible include the following:
- High-risk healthcare workers in healthcare settings
- High-risk first responders
- Long-term care facility residents
- All other workers at risk in healthcare settings

If you are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine
If you meet the eligibility requirements to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, you may schedule your appointment through the UW Medicine patient portal known as eCare.
If you are new to UW Medicine and don’t have an eCare account, you can create one by following the instructions below.

Fill out the form on this page. Once you fill out and submit the form, you’ll receive account set-up instructions by email.

Coming Soon … MyChart
UW Medicine’s patient portals (like eCare) will merge into one new and improved patient portal called MyChart. If you are an existing eCare user, you won’t need to do anything to switch to MyChart — eCare will automatically update to MyChart for you. Learn more.
